Who will provide the medico-legal training courses?
The first medico-legal training courses will be provided by the College of Medico Legal
Science and the trainees/students will be certified by the South African Institute of Medico
Legal Experts (SAIME) which is the first institution to be recognised as a professional body
by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Psychologists, Industrial Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Legal Practitioners,
Advocates, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists and Audiologist,
E&T Doctors, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgeons, Plastic Surgeons, RAF employees, PRASA
employees, COIDA employees, Occupational medicine doctors, Dieticians, Nurses, and
Social Workers.

Certification through SAIME sets you apart as recognised professional by the South African
Qualifications Authority (SAQA), this represents the pinnacle of professional competency

an experienced Medico-Legal Expert who understands the unique issues in the Medico Legal
industry.
• The College of Medico Legal Science exam fee is non-refundable after it is paid and can
only be transferred to another exam location within the same calendar year for a
transfer fee of $100.
• No substitutions are allowed for exam and No substitutions or transfers are allowed for
educational events. All cancellations for educational events must be made in writing to
the College of Medico Legal Science and there shall be no cancellations or refunds of
tuition fees if the request is received less than two weeks prior to the course date. No
Exceptions Please.
• Cancellation requests received more than two weeks prior to the course date shall incur
an administrative fee of $50 fee for each workshop.
• No Shows are not entitled to course handout material. No Exceptions.
• This refund policy also applies to any subsequent courses added to this registration.
• College of Medico Legal Science reserve the right to cancel or modify any educational
activity for any reason with maximum liability of refund only of the course registration
fees paid.
• College of Medico Legal Science hereby expressly disclaim any liability for damages
incidental to or resulting from any cancellation or modification of any event.
